Toru Miyagi

宮城 徹
After graduating from the University of Tokyo, joined McKinsey & Company as a new graduate in 2014. At the Tokyo and London offices, he worked on company-wide transformation projects for major financial institutions, including digital strategy such as bank open APIs and the optimization of fee structures and branch networks. Drawing on his awareness of the challenges in this field and his knowledge and experience, he co-founded UPSIDER, Inc. with Mizuno in 2018.

Tomonori Mizuno

水野 智規
Began his career at ABeam Consulting as an engineer designing and developing infrastructure for financial institutions. He then joined Uzabase, where he took part in launching NewsPicks before serving as head of marketing for the entire group. Based on the awareness and firsthand experiences he had at the time of founding, he co-founded UPSIDER, Inc. with CEO Miyagi in 2018.

Joined KPMG AZSA LLC in 2014. Centered on the IT industry, he served as lead auditor for several listed clients while also engaging in IPO support and FAS work such as financial due diligence. He joined UPSIDER, Inc. in 2019. In 2023 he launched the growth debt fund “UPSIDER BLUE DREAM Fund,” and currently serves as Representative Director of UPSIDER Capital, Inc. He is also an Executive Officer of UPSIDER, Inc.

He currently oversees legal and labor affairs as CLO.

Yusuke Izumi

After graduating from a music college in the United States and working as a composer at a media production company, he founded a company in system development. He has held roles including bond-trading system development at Morgan Stanley, lead engineer for the game platform business and healthcare service development at DeNA, and Director and CTO of Raksul. He holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and has deep expertise in both finance and technology. He currently leads the engineering organization as VPoE of UPSIDER, Inc.

Daisuke Mori

Led the development of enterprise business systems at Works Applications. He then launched multiple AI SaaS products at the PKSHA Group, driving their growth as Executive Officer of Product Planning. He joined UPSIDER, Inc. in 2023. As VP of Product, under the vision of “re-engineering the world surrounding challengers with AI,” he oversees, as business owner, the development of a product suite that redesigns the space between finance and operations.

After serving at Mizuho Financial Group in roles including branch manager, large-corporate sales, corporate planning, chief auditor, and investment banking, he joined from the preparatory phase of establishing LINE Bank. After serving as Executive Officer for Corporate Planning at LINE Financial, he joined UPSIDER, Inc. in 2023. He is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (CMA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
